Educators from across Australia are warmly invited to the Queensland First Nations Catholic Education Conference - Heart on Country. This transformative three-day event will explore how culture, faith and learning can be woven together to create inclusive, empowering educational environments for First Nations students.
A central theme of the conference is holistic education, which recognises the interconnectedness of identity, spirituality and academic growth. Through this lens, educators will be equipped to nurture the emotional, social and intellectual development of First Nations students, honouring their unique stories and strengths.
The experience begins with a powerful cultural immersion on Day One at the beautiful Bunya Mountains – Booburrgan Ngmmunge (boo-barr-an ngummin), a sacred site for the Jarowair people.
