Purchase path: directly through Macquarie Telecom

Each Diocese or system of schools can purchase along their own timeline until the expiration of the agreement. Macquarie Telecom can deliver any of the following data connectivity and/or security services:

Data Connectivity

Our multi-carrier solution leverages nbn (Business or Commercial Grade), Carrier Fibre from any of Telstra, Vocus/TPG, Superloop and Optus, and business grade Starlink, 4/5G for schools in challenging locations. In some cases, fixed wireless may be used to provide any location with reliable and redundant connectivity to keep staff and students online, productive and above all, safe.
 
Student and Staff Cyber Security
We help keep students and staff safe by creating a secure digital learning environment that supports wellbeing, reduces online risks, and keeps students focused on learning. This enhanced protection is the same, whether students are at school, at home, or on their own devices.
 
Network Equipment
Each Participant can continue to use an existing footprint of edge hardware, or work with us to design and deploy Fortinet or Netskope edge hardware.


 
Management
We are flexible and can accommodate a solution where you continue to manage your own equipment or we can manage it all for you. More than this, in a best of both worlds scenario we can jointly manage the edge equipment.
 
Monitoring and Support
Across all management scenarios, we provide 24/7/365 monitoring and support, proactively alerting you the moment an issue arises. Our continuous patching, optimisation, and health checks significantly reduce the likelihood and frequency of faults, ensuring a more stable and resilient service.
 
Service Hub
We believe that “offshore is not on” and as such, our Service Hub and all support engineers are located 100% within Australia. Having a 100% onshore focus is relatively unique as most legacy Telco’s support Australian based clients from offshore. Which is one of the reasons we are #SoUnTelco.
