Managed Project (No 3D Printer Add on)
A managed project is an online project that runs from the start of the school term to the end of the school term. The participating school receives a Makers Empire 3D design and technology program access for the duration of the project. Teachers will have a teacher account created for Makers Empire 3D design learning program so they can access the Teachers Dashboard via a web browser.
Students will need a Makers Empire 3D design learning program student account created and then down the Makers Empire 3D design app to use. The online project focus on a particular learning topic for that term. Teachers will receive a teachers guide at the beginning of the school term. Webinar(s) and/or recorded videos are also offered to support teachers. Teachers receive weekly emails to guide and support them each week during the project. Students are provided access to a challenge course on the learning topic of the managed project to work through. (A challenge course comprises of videos, quizzes and design tasks).

Custom Remote Learning by Design Project
A Custom Remote Learning by Design Project is a Makers Empire Learning by Design course delivered in an online course and online project format. Makers Empire’s Learning by Design course encourages learning across STEM disciplines by supporting teachers to engage students in exciting, challenging learning connected to solving real-world challenges using Design Thinking. The project goes over 2 school terms The participating school receives a Makers Empire 3D design learning program subscription for 12 months. Teachers will have a teacher account created for Makers Empire 3D design learning program so they can access the Teachers Dashboard via a web browser. Students will need a Makers Empire 3D design learning program student account created and then down the Makers Empire 3D design app to use. The project begins with 4 to 6 live online professional development sessions for teachers (~12 hours) over 4 to 6 weeks. (4 to 6 to accommodate different school cohort needs) Students and teachers will work on solving a problem using design thinking, 3D design and 3D printing. The project includes live online check-in support sessions for teachers after the delivery of pd. At the end of the project, there is a virtual showcase event (e.g. zoom webinar) with all students presenting their work and answering questions about the problem they solved.
